Internet browser – tabs (eg: google chrome)
On opening your internet browser, a window will open, enabling you to search. However, every time you carry out a new search, your previous search will be written over. For example, you may want to look at a couple of online shops to compare prices. The easiest way to do this is to OPEN SEPARATE TABS.
At the very top of the window, is the ‘tab’ with the name of the site you are visiting. Next to it, you will see the end of a ‘new tab’. Take your cursor and left click once with your mouse to open up new window. Then search again. You can continue to do this as many times as you like.
Take your cursor and left click with mouse on the tab of whichever window you wish to view.
To close the tab, take the cursor to the ‘x’ on the particular tab you want to close and left click once with the mouse.
