Copy & Paste using keyboard and Short Cut Keys
Using your arrow keys go to the start of what you need copying. Press and hold the ‘shift’ key and using arrows highlight what work needs to be copied. Then, press and hold down the ‘Ctrl’ key while you press C to copy the highlighted work. Then using your arrow keys go to the place you wish your work to be copied. Then press and hold the ‘Ctrl’ key while you press V to paste your work.
Copy & Paste using Mouse
Using your mouse take your cursor to the start of what you need copying. Press and hold the left button on the mouse and drag the mouse to highlight the work that needs copying. Once you have done this, let go of the buttons on the mouse. Using your mouse take your cursor so it hovers on the highlighted work, then press the right button on the mouse. You will be given several options. Select the ‘copy’ option by taking your cursor over the copy option and pressing the left button on the mouse. Using your mouse take your cursor to the place you wish your work to be copied. Then press the right button on the mouse and select the paste option with the left button.
These two methods can also be used together, eg use the mouse to highlight and then use ‘Ctrl’ C to copy.
